My guitars are characterized by having an even balance with full, bright trebles and resonant basses.  The Concert Model is designed and built in order to provide the player with a maximum level of volume without sacrificing tone and resonance.  This is achieved in large part due to the soundboard bracing system I use.  It allows for the entire soundboard to participate in resonance and volume production, not just the lower bout, which is typical of traditionally designed classicals.  Further, due to additional characteristics of the bracing design, even more volume can be achieved when playing with greater force before the guitar reaches its peak output, as compared to traditionally braced classicals.

In the photos here, I show two variants of the Concert Model.  The one on the left, I call the Ruby Concert because, well, it's red.  It has a redwood top and padauk back and sides.  Padauk is an excellent tone wood that often goes overlooked by luthiers because it can be somewhat of a chore to bend and plane, but to me the bit of extra patience is worth it.  Padauk does tend to oxidize over time, however, with the color slowly turning to a warm brown color, looking a lot like rosewood.  The finish slows the process, but does not halt it altogether.  The guitar on the right has a Master grade European spruce top, which is available as an option for players who prefer it.
